Objectives:
To allow teachers of both Primary and Secondary grades to ellaborate lesson plans that encourage creative work in the student.
To help teachers improve the academic progress of their students.
To encourage teachers and their students to experience the true satisfaction of good grades.
In regards to this work, it is important to define some of the terms used.
Teaching: Labor performed by professionals in the education field.
Creativity: Mental process that allows teachers and students to find new solutions to problems arising in the development of the curriculum and its daily activities.
Curriculum: Group experiences of the students resulting from the activities organized by the school to meet academic goals.
Lesson: Work performed by the teacher with her students during periods (usually lasting between 20 and 60 minutes).
Lesson Plan: Decisions made previous to the lesson which allow the educator to determine the activities to be completed in class, as well as any other concerning details.
On this first installment, we are offering a wide frame of reference in regards to the educational process. It covers the stage of human development between the ages of 4 and 17 years. Even beyond the teen years, our suggestions can be utilized for the planning of introductory university courses.
With the purpose of explaining the multiple aspects that characterize the development of the human being, we will identify three vast areas: knowlege, personality and human relations. The conceptualization of each one of these three areas allows us to identify their corresponding aspects specifically.
Without further preamble, this frame of reference is as follows: CREATIVE TEACHING
Knowledge – Personality – Human Relations
Now, in strict accordance with the frame of reference already presented, it is posible to ellaborate an organization of the curriculum that rigurously defines what would be a true integral education. This educational approach is thoroughly compatible with educational systems of any country and it applies to pre-school, primary and secondary grades.
Here is an opportunity for the teacher to use her creativity. So that she can adapt the approach here presented to fit the laws and regulations of her own country. With this purpose in mind, the upcoming installment will be the description of each one of the parts that constitute this Integral Education our title speaks of.
Assessment and Authorization
Creative Teaching, Education for Being (CTEFB) is the ultimate trend in pedagogy systems. It enables the actualization of any educational institute for which its’ representatives so decide.
At the same time, it is an essential part of a project we are currently developing to create a Foundation called: A Better World.
The requirements for your institution to be able to carry out projects to apply the concepts of CTEFB are the following:
1-) Accept the agreement which specifies the conditions through which your institution is granted the right to utilize our material.
2-) Acquisition of the Frame Of Reference
3-) Drawing up of a plan for each of the experiences desired that we were hired for.
4-) Approval and assessment: Your institute will receive the information and suggestions necessary which will enable you to have the most adequate plan at your disposal in order to carry out each of your institue’s creative experiences.
5-) The Frame Of Reference and the projects to apply our system have a cost associated with them as a result of their being our intellectual property.

About the author:Eduardo Arias Hidalgo was born in Alajuela, Costa Rica. For 30 years, he taught Math at private and public high schools. He also taught the Costa Rican equivalent of GED courses at adult schools. Additionally, he worked as a professor at the Universidad Nacional (National University). There, he taught post-graduate courses to teachers serving the university. His culminating degree was a Masters in Education, specializing in curriculum, which he obtained from the Brazilian University, Universidad Federal de Santa Maria, in Rio grande do Sul. Presently, Eduardo is retired and lives in San Jose, Costa Rica. |
